The Pieces Behind Our Grazing Tables and Rustic Displays
One of the questions we often get asked is where we source our serving ware, platters, boards, and display pieces.
The answer is simple: a little bit from everywhere.
Over the years, we've collected pieces from our favorite places like Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, IKEA, Nicobar in India, antique markets we've stumbled upon during our travels, Divisoria, Dapitan Arcade, and even the occasional late-night Temu doom-scrolling find. Some of our wine crates, which have become a familiar part of our catering and grazing displays, once housed wines such as Opus One and Petrus.
One of our favorite parts of sourcing is turning it into family time. Between school, catering events, and everything else on the calendar, these little trips have become our version of mother-daughter bonding. The kids have surprisingly strong opinions on platters, baskets, and serving pieces, and one in particular has an uncanny ability to fall in love with the most beautiful, and most out-of-budget item in the shop. Those usually stay on the shelf, but they do make it onto our growing list of "maybe someday" finds.
Many of these pieces eventually find their way into our rustic stations and grazing displays, which are already included in our catering packages.
Whether we're setting up a grazing table, rustic food station, or catering spread, our focus has always been the same: creating a welcoming space where good food brings people together. The boards, platters, and crates simply help tell that story.
We naturally gravitate toward a rustic and minimalist aesthetic. Wood, stoneware, and natural textures create a warm backdrop for what matters most: sharing good food with family, friends, and guests.
